Add safety and style to your Next Generation Silverado 3500 with this LED Tailgate Bar Light from Chevrolet. This Chevrolet Accessories tailgate light bar features high-power LED lights that illuminate with the running lights and communicate your braking, reversing and turning maneuvers to other drivers. Easy to install and remove, the package includes a patented quick-connector wire harness and attachment clips for easy removal. The quick-connector is a T-Style harness that is installed behind the bumper to allow continued use of the trailer hitch plug connector with this LED Tail Light Bar. This is not a universal fit as this LED Tail Light Bar package includes a module to prevent a false trailer presence when added to the factory tail light system. The light bar is IP69 Rated to ensure a fully sealed waterproof and weatherproof operation.

This was fairly easy to do, although the instructions are lacking (a lot) if you purchase specifically for the model. I realize they have to be some what generic. Also, this light bar is not as picture; there is no amber for the turn signals. Everything works but it is all red for tails, breaks, and turn. Also, there is so much excessive wire, I had to come up with a creative way to secure them and wrap them up. And the instructions don't show or mention the small black box that is in line which I suspect is a control of sorts for the LED's. Had to get creative with where things were attached. Overall, I am happy with this but if you are not comfortable with doing work on the truck the install is not for you. Also, with the multi-pro tailgate, it is certainly recommended to have help getting it off and back on because of the weight, size, and the wiring that has to be removed. I also found it helpful to lower the spare down and out of the way!
