Add the ultimate braking performance to your Suburban with this Brembo® 6-Piston Performance Front Brake Kit from Chevrolet. This factory option (5JL), Genuine Chevrolet Performance Accessories Front Brake Upgrade Kit enhances your vehicle's brake performance and reduces brake wear under high performance/track driving conditions. This package features Red Brembo® six-piston, fixed aluminum calipers, loaded with brake pads clamping on larger-than-stock 410mm x 32mm (16.1-inch x 1.3-inch) Duralife™ rotors. The Chevrolet Performance 6-Piston Brake Upgrade provides an 84% increase in brake pad area and a 42% increase in rotor area to increase system thermal capacity. Duralife™ rotors feature a hardened surface to reduce corrosion and provide quieter braking with less vibration. During GM testing, the Performance Brake package provided a 31% reduction in pedal force, at max deceleration, and 12% reduction in pedal travel, providing improved pedal feel. This Brembo® front brake upgrade package includes all necessary hardware for the passenger and driver sides with installation instructions.

• This 6-Piston Performance Brake Package was designed and engineered to fit within a 20" or 22" wheel. As such, the standard 17" Spare will no longer fit over the front brakes once the kit is installed. For this reason, if a front tire goes flat, the spare tire will need to be installed in the rear location and the rear (20" or 22") wheel/tire will need to be moved to the front.
